CAIR-Chicago; “Labels Are Inflammatory And Wrong”

Another Anti-CAIR Blogburst.

Christina Abraham, civil right director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago) wrote a recent column for the Naperville Sun complaining that labels are wrong; particularly as they apply to CAIR.

     Abraham briefly mentions the Irshad Learning Center's desire to have their property used as a religious institution. When the DuPage County Board refused a permit, CAIR-Chicago filed suit charging the county board with violating the learning center’s federal rights. Abraham insists that this is an example of the local community labeling all Muslims as a potential threat.

     Abraham’s column spins off from a run-of-the-mill permit fight, to Abraham ranting that “labeling” is wrong. She cites as evidence the listing of CAIR as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land Foundation trial. She bleats that "neither the ILC nor CAIR-Chicago have ever been labeled unindicted co-conspirators of anything."

     Anti-CAIR compiled a detailed report on what the Holy Land Foundation case revealed about CAIR's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, and in particular, FBI wiretapped statements that CAIR founder Omar Ahmad could "register 100 organizations in 100 cities in one day", and that they didn't have enough people to do the work they wanted to "hide".

     Perhaps Christina Abraham could explain what kind of work Omar Ahmad's "organizations" would need to hide?

     And as is par for CAIR, Abraham conveniently forgets that her own organization is a leading player in the “labeling game”. To take just two well-known examples we have only to look at the scorn CAIR continually heaps on two of America’s leading experts on radical Islam, Dr. Daniel Pipes and Mr. Steven Emerson.  According to CAIR, both men are guilty of “Islamophobia” for daring to expose the actions of radical Islamists.

     Abraham says in her column that labeling without reason isn’t right and of course, she is correct.

     However, what have Pipes and Emerson done to cause CAIR to label them?  CAIR has never been able to refute the truths that either man has presented and exposed about radical islam or CAIR, yet CAIR attempts to label them as “Islamophobic”.

     Why?  Simply because CAIR's entire fundraising money-train is based on being the organization that determines what constitutes “Islamophobia” and just who deserves the label.

     Anti-CAIR has a few labels for CAIR.

     We label CAIR and every single CAIR chapter as working for the destruction of our country from within.

     We label CAIR a terrorist supporting front organization created for Hamas, that was not only founded by terrorists, but accepts, to this day, financial assistance from foreign governments and individuals who support Islamist terror.

     We accuse CAIR of being Hamas’s American branch.

     We accuse CAIR’s leadership, at all levels including Christina Abraham, as either being complicit in CAIR’s plans to destroy our Constitutional Republic or of being useful idiots in CAIR’s plot to destroy freedom.

     The “Irshad Learning Center” should be wary of accepting any help from CAIR.  CAIR’s legal reputation involves hiring non-attorney’s to represent Muslim immigration case clients and then attempting to cover up its depredations by paying “hush money” to victims.

     There is a reason CAIR has so many ugly labels: CAIR earned every one of them.

Kelly Clarkson offends Muslims

More items for the list. I'm not a fan of Clarkson or smoking myself, but I support the individual's right to decide these things for themselves.

An Indonesian Islamic organization is saying an upcoming concert by Kelly Clarkson in Jakarta is banned under Islamic law because it is being sponsored by a tobacco company, according to a report Wednesday in the Jakarta Globe.

Muhammadiyah, the second largest Islamic organization in the world’s most populous Muslim country, has previously declared all smoking forbidden under Islam, according to the Globe report.

The head of the organization’s fatwa, or religious edict, department, Yanuar Ilyas, told the Globe that the no-smoking fatwa applied to Clarkson’s concert.

“We do not need to put another fatwa on a thing that is already clear,” the Globe quoted Yanuar as saying.

In Sweden, some naked drawings of Mohammed with Aiesha are causing a stir.

French blog Bivouac-ID posted a picture of the poster (content warning!). The caption reads "Mohammed with wife, he's 53, she's 9. Is this the type of marriage we want to see in Skåne?"

The anti-Islam Skåne Party put posters with cartoons in twenty different places in Malmö. The posters portray the prophet Muhammed naked with a 9 year old wife by his side. The posters have been reported to the police by both the police and at least one person. The reporters think it could be hate speech.

Would it still be "hate speech" if it was Jesus pitcured nude with Mary? Not likely.

South Park Offends Muslims

Add South Park to the list of things that offend Muslims. Updated: Be sure to read the IBA post on this subject. It includes a webshot of revolutionmuslim.com's clear and open threat as well as a video.

A radical Islamic website is warning the creators of "South Park" that they could face violent retribution for depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode broadcast on Comedy Central last week.

RevolutionMuslim.com posted the warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "South Park," which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit. The Web posting also included a graphic photo of Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a documentary on violence against Muslim women.

"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," the posting reads. "This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them."

Reaching by phone early Tuesday, Abu Talhah al Amrikee, the author of the post, said he wrote the entry to "raise awareness." He said the grisly photograph of van Gogh was meant to "explain the severity" of what Parker and Stone did by mocking Muhammad.

"It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome," al Amrikee said, referring to the possibility that Parker and Stone could be murdered for mocking Muhammad. "They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality."

Al Amrikee said the website is considering a protest against the "disgusting" show, which also depicted the Prophet Muhammad in an episode on July 4, 2001.

"This is not a small thing," he said. "We should do whatever we can to make sure it does not happen again."

The posting on RevolutionMuslim.com also includes audio of a sermon by Anwar al-Awlaki -- a radical U.S.-born preacher now believed to be hiding in Yemen -- who discusses assassinating individuals who defame the Prophet Muhammad. It also included a link to a 2009 story in the Huffington Post that gave details of Stone and Parker's mansion in Colorado.

Prayers to Poland

God bless Poland and her people in thier time of grief.

SMOLENSK, Russia – The crash of an aging Russian airliner ravaged the top levels of Poland's military, political and church elite Saturday, killing the Polish president and dozens of other dignitaries as they traveled to a ceremony commemorating a slaughter that has divided the two nations for seven decades.

Poles wept before their televisions, lowered flags to half-staff and taped black ribbons in their windows after hearing that President Lech Kaczynski and the upper echelons of the establishment lay dead in woods a short drive from the site of the Katyn forest massacre, where 22,000 Polish officers were killed by Soviet secret police in one of Poland's greatest national traumas.

Thousands of people, many in tears, placed candles and flowers at the presidential palace in central Warsaw. Many called the crash Poland's worst disaster since World War II.
