NY Restaurant Offends Muslims

Not only has the restaurant offended the local Muslims, but so much so that they felt it was necessary to issue threats. So what is the great crime the Breslin Restaurant has committed to draw such a strong reaction? They serve alchohol. Via JW.

The much-hyped, soon-to-open Breslin restaurant, situated in the 12-story Ace Hotel on Broadway and 29th, is giving members of the Masjid Ar-Rahman mosque across the street some agita. "Five times a day, there's a hundred cabs on the street--the good news is you can always get a cab," co-owner Ken Friedman told the Transom the other evening. He said some mosque visitors "object to seeing people drink alcohol."

After the recent FergusStock, a festival during which famed British chef Fergus Henderson cooked whole pigs for a rapt crowd of New York chefs and foodies, Mr. Friedman said the mosque's leaders called a meeting with the hotel. "They said, 'Can you move the bar?'" he said. "And I laughed. And the guy said, 'Oh, you think that's funny?' And I said, 'Yeah, that is funny, that is really funny, because we're not going to move the bar just because you discovered we're serving booze.' Can you name one restaurant in New York that doesn't serve booze?"

Mr. Friedman and his partner, Spotted Pig chef April Bloomfield, did agree to nix plans for a dive bar in a townhouse next door, but as for the restaurant, "I said, 'This is the United States of America and we'll do whatever the f**k we want.'"

He said the mosque had suggested it couldn't control the behavior of "a few bad eggs"; i.e., "we could get a brick through our window." Mr. Friedman said he made the police aware of this threat.

A volunteer at the mosque returning a call from the Transom said that a law forbids serving liquor within 200 feet of a place of worship and that "not more than 200 feet is between the mosque and the bar." To which Andrew Zobler, the hotel's developer, responded: "The law is clear that in order for that to apply it has to be an exclusively dedicated house of worship, and at their space they have both residences and a restaurant, so basically, because of those uses the law allowed there to be a bar within 200 feet. Everyone was aware of that when the liquor license was granted." He added: "Out of neighborliness and respect we've voluntarily acquiesced to covering the window with a curtain." [...]

When the Transom visited, the "doily curtain" covering had not yet arrived, and paper has been taped to the windows to shield the mosque's worshipers from the sight of a gay wedding over the weekend. "They can threaten, but they can't really stop us," Mr. Friedman said.

Beltway Sniper sentenced to Death

What the article doesn't mention is that the DC Snipers killings were an act of jihad.

WaPo-The mastermind of the 2002 Washington, DC-area sniper attacks will die by lethal injection next month, Virginia officials said Tuesday.

John Allen Muhammad declined to choose between lethal injection and electrocution, so under state law the method defaults to lethal injection, Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor said.

Muhammad is scheduled to be executed Nov. 10 for the October 2002 slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a Manassas gas station during a string of shootings.

The three-week killing spree in October 2002 left 10 dead in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Muhammad and his teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, were also suspected of shootings in several other states, including a killing in Louisiana and another in Alabama. Malvo is serving a life sentence in prison.

Obama Hands out Millions to Muslim Nations

Instead of just handing out the money for free like a cowering dhimmi why don't we try to get something in exchange for it? Like...uh...I don't know...OIL!!!

The White House Friday highlighted a new multi-million-dollar technology fund for Muslim nations, following a pledge made by President Barack Obama in his landmark speech to the Islamic world.

The White House said the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) had issued a call for proposals for the fund, which will provide financing of between 25 and 150 million dollars for selected projects and funds.

The Global Technology and Innovation Fund will "catalyze and facilitate private sector investments" throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa, the White House said in a statement.

Eligible projects would advance economic opportunity and create jobs in areas like technology, education, telecoms, media, business services and clean technology, the White House said.

OPIC said sample projects could help foster the development of new computer technology or telecommunications businesses, or widen access to broadband Internet services....

Yep, that's the problem with the Middle East, they can't afford broadband. The poor things.

Gee, I can't afford a hotel like that, maybe Obama will bow to me?

But let me tell you what also happened during our press conference. A Muslim mob demonstrated outside, shouting: "Shariah for the Netherlands", "Enemy of Islam Geert Wilders deserves capital punishment", "Freedom go to hell" and "Islam will dominate the world". Welcome to Europe today!

You can see all this for yourself on YouTube. This is exactly what we are fighting against. And it gets even worse. A few days ago British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported that an Islamic group indeed launched a campaign to impose shariah law in Britain, they will meet later this month in London for a procession to demand the full implementation of shariah law.

CAIR And The Muslim Mafia

An Anti-CAIR blogburst.

A group of investigative reporters have opened the proverbial can of worms for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). The investigative team, organized by Dave Gaubatz and including his son, Chris, and a small band of researchers infiltrated CAIR’s national headquarters for six months and spirited away over 12,000 documents and 300 hours of video that has been compiled into a book that clearly demonstrates CAIR’s plan to cripple and destroy the constitution of the United States from within.

While CAIR, predictably, has publically accused the Gaubatz team and three congressional representatives who announced the disturbing contents of the book, Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that’s Conspiring to Islamize America, of “Islamophobia”, “racism”, and “bigotry” against Muslims; the fact remains that a growing, bi-partisan group of representatives has taken the first serious steps towards confronting CAIR.  While CAIR strongly condemns the audacity of members of Congress calling for an investigation of CAIR based on Muslim Mafia's revelations, the simple fact remains that during all of CAIR’s false cries of victimhood, CAIR has not refuted one single charge or accusation made in the book.
 
Not one.
 
The reason is simple:  CAIR realizes that it cannot defend against the truth.  The Gaubatz team caught CAIR red handed and no amount of CAIR’s whining can hide or disguise the fact that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front group created to advance the interests of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.  Nothing CAIR’s liar-for-hire, “spokesman” Ibrahim Hooper can say will mitigate that fact that CAIR is here to convert our country into an Islamic theocracy; a theocracy that is not only not free, but oppresses every basic human right in the quest for world domination. A domination based on fear, terror, and the subjugation of those not among the “chosen few” who would eventually rule their version of an “Islamic paradise”.

CAIR’s ability to successfully manipulate the news media is testament to CAIR’s ability to utilize “useful idiots” in the media to further its agenda. Damning facts are consistently either avoided or disregarded by CAIR, and irresponsibly ignored by members of the media who lap up CAIR’s whimpers and ignore CAIR’s critics in the false belief that they are giving “voice to the voiceless”; not understanding that their deliberate silence as to the facts about CAIR are no different than giving aid and comfort to our enemies.
 
Long before "Muslim Mafia" (co-authored by Dave Gaubatz and Paul Sperry) was published, however, several members of Congress had warned of CAIR's disturbing origins. One of the first consistent and fearless critics of CAIR has been Democrat Senator Charles Schumer who said: "We know [CAIR] has ties to terrorism…intimate links with Hamas."  Senator Schumer made these statements during a September 2003 Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology and Homeland Security where the evidence against CAIR was laid out in detail. CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad was invited to testify at this gathering, but chose to avoid the meeting and instead submitted a crude and absurd written statement listing CAIR's "accomplishments" and childishly attacking critics.

  Senator Schumer continues to give unapologetic support in efforts to investigate and exclude CAIR from involvement in government programs, including "training" the FBI. In February of 2009, Senator Schumer joined Senators Kyl and Coburn in contacting the FBI to state their support for the FBI severing ties to CAIR saying "We certainly support that action..."

Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer has also called out CAIR. She recalled an award to CAIR's Basim Elkarra when she researched and learned of his involvement with CAIR and CAIR's ties to Hamas. In addition to recalling the award, Senator Boxer also told CAIR to remove her statement endorsing CAIR from their web site. CAIR blasted Senator Boxer saying her actions were rooted in "Islamophobia."  Senator Boxer made clear her feelings about CAIR when she said:  "To praise [CAIR] because they haven't been indicted is like somebody saying, 'I'm not a crook'"

When Representative Sue Myrick was joined by congressional colleagues and members of the Anti-Terrorism Caucus at a news conference to announce their request for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate efforts by the CAIR to lobby congress illegally and place CAIR interns in sensitive agencies, CAIR thought they had an easy mark with eager media assistance to vilify these Republican representatives as "attacking Muslims" and deflect the attention away from the evidence of CAIR's dubious ties to terrorism. However, Sue Myrick founded the bipartisan Anti-Terrorism Caucus which consists of over 120 congressional members and includes Representatives Bud Cramer (D-AL), Kay Granger (R-TX), and Jane Harman (D-CA) who are the Caucus co-chairs.  A Caucus statement demonstrates that CAIR is a serious problem for all Americans, not just an issue for one political party:
 

“Terrorists don’t target Democrats or Republicans. They target Americans, and this is why
we must face this issue as Americans. Members of Congress and the American public must
know the threats we face from radical jihadist terrorists. The Anti-Terrorism Caucus
will give Congress the tools and resources it needs to communicate those threats
to the public, as well as help them make more informed decisions when it comes
to terrorist issues.”

CAIR's "attacking Muslims" meme is their classic ploy to misdirect the issue away from CAIR's creation for supporting Hamas. Their documented defensive tactic of attacking the messenger because "the credibility of the message depends on the credibility of the messenger" is now in full operational mode. As soon as Myrick and her colleagues made their announcement, CAIR damage-control went into high gear issuing bleating media reports and having CAIR apologists appear on cue to falsely accuse the authors of "Muslim Mafia" and congressional members of being "anti-Islam" and "Islamophobes."

CAIR has pressed the narrative that author Gaubatz is "anti-Islam" and "anti-Muslim" even though the evidence shows the exact opposite is true.  Gaubatz has risked his life helping Muslims, which includes leading a dangerous mission in 2003 to extract members of an Iraqi Muslim family out of Iraq who now affectionately call Gaubatz the "American Angel".  Gaubatz has also come to the aid of Muslims under assault by CAIR.

The authors of "Muslim Mafia" make their intentions quite clear: 

“This is not a book about Islam or about Muslims in general. It is about the threat known
from Shariah Islam and violent jihad propagated by a criminal class of Muslims
known as the Muslim Brotherhood or the ‘Ikhwan mafia’...”

  Representative Myrick could not be more specific on who she is targeting:

“Why would anyone allow a group, who the FBI says is tied to terrorism, to influence
national security policy, or any policy for that matter?”...“If the FBI has cut ties
with CAIR, Congress should wake up and do the same.”

 
The gauntlet has been thrown and CAIR has, so far, refused to point out any parts of "Muslim Mafia" that are not true. This is further evidence, as if any was needed, that CAIR has once again been exposed as a dangerous organization that supports many who would be happy to kill us if they were given half a chance.
 
Members of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus have called for hearings. Now is the time for the Caucus to sit as a group and hold some hearings of their own, and once and for all give CAIR’s leadership the spotlight they crave; let CAIR explain away all the evidence compiled against them and just how they really defend “Muslim civil rights” in America.

Farrakhan: Swine Flu designed to kill people

Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan told an audience in Memphis he believes the H1N1 flu vaccine was developed to kill people, a witness said.

Farrakhan, 76, spoke for nearly three hours Sunday at a gathering to observe the religious group's Holy Day of Atonement, which also marked the 14th anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington, the (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported, citing a source who attended the speech.

"The Earth can't take 6.5 billion people. We just can't feed that many. So what are you going to do? Kill as many as you can. We have to develop a science that kills them and makes it look as though they died from some disease," Farrakhan said, adding that many wise people won't take the vaccine.

"The black community has become toxic and must cleanse and restore peace from within," Farrakhan said.

Farrakhan told listeners not to become complacent as a result of Barack Obama's election as the United States' first black president, the newspaper said.

"You have to understand that he was voted in to take on the affairs of a nation, not yours and mine. He is the American president, not the black president," he said.

Anti-CAIR Book Review: Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld Thats Conspiring to Islamize America

I received this subscriber email from Anti-CAIR.

I want to share what I believe is one of the most important books to come out regarding the dangerous activities of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an FBI identified front group created for Hamas.

     "Muslim Mafia" exposes CAIR’s activities to the light of day and clearly demonstrates with convincing proof that CAIR is in America with the primary purpose of weakening our country in favor of CAIR's proclaimed version of radical Islam; a political and violent ideology that has evolved into the most wicked and destructive “religion” in existence.

    •  Evidence that Randall “Ismail” Royer is receiving direct assistance from CAIR to overturn his conviction on terrorism-related charges; despite Royer’s confession.  (Chapter 2)

    •  CAIR’s image as the “Muslim NAACP” is based almost entirely on bluff; CAIR suffers from an extremely high staff turnover and has been losing money for years.  (Chapter 9)

    •  How CAIR attempts to blackmail corporate America; included is CAIR’s involvement in the “Flying Imams” case  (Chapter 12, “CAIR versus United Airways”)

     When you are done reading "Muslim Mafia", your responsibilities are not over; you will want to share this book with everyone you know; to write your members of the Congress and demand CAIR be shut down; to demand that your local and state law enforcement have nothing to do with CAIR; to demand the Department of Justice investigate and make a final determination of just what CAIR is…and isn’t.

     While you read "Muslim Mafia", keep in mind the very strong charges made against CAIR.  Ask yourself, “If CAIR believes these charges are not true, what will CAIR do?”

     As CAIR’s well-known lawsuit against Anti-CAIR clearly demonstrated, the truth is an absolute defense, and in the end, CAIR cannot stand the truth.

     I personally predict that CAIR will accuse the authors of “Islamophobia”; of attacking Islam to “make a profit” or some other trumped-up accusation(s) that will attempt to place the onus on the authors.

     "Muslim Mafia" is a clarion call that describes how our country is in grave danger.

     We must thank Dave and Chris Gaubatz, Paul Sperry, and all those involved for their bravery and dedication to bring us this daring exposure of CAIR's true face.

     Again, we have been warned; what are we going to do about CAIR?
