'Sex in Marriage' Book offends Muslims

Another book banning by Islamists. There are lots of examples of censorship lately, click here, here, here, here, and here to name a few.

Fierce controversy has erupted in the Emirates over a book about the secrets of sex within marriage written by Wedad Lootah, a female lawyer who works on matrimonial cases at the court in Dubai. The book which came out about a month ago, includes several chapters on marriage within Islam, Islamic law on the issues of co-habiting and sex, and possible solutions to sexual problems. Arab News reports that it is mainly men who are against the book, maintaining that issues of this nature should not be discussed publicly. Some of the detractors have even gone so far as to accuse the author of being an infidel and sinner for writing the book. Supporters however say that there is a great need for published information on the issues and that until know Arab society has not wanted to recognize problems arising from ignorance in sexual matters. Lootah, who wears the Muslim veil, does not seem too surprised by the criticisms, and maintains that she based the book on Islamic sources, stressing that it was even approved by the mufti of Dubai. The book was suggested by her own six years of experience working on divorce cases, and from the knowledge that many of these cases come about because of a lack of preparation for couples in the matter. Dutch Theater segregates gender to appease Muslims

Imagine going to the movies and not being able to sit next to your spouse. (emphasis not mine.)

On Friday night, a Muslim stand-up comedian was scheduled to give a show in a Rotterdam theatre with segregated seating for the men and women in his audience.

Moroccan-born writer and TV producer Salaheddine Benchikhi was to make his debut as a stand-up comedian at Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam. At his request, the theatre said it would offer female audience members the option of sitting apart from the men, as Algemeen Dagblad reported several hours before the show on Friday.

According to the newspaper, 50 of the 590 seats had been reserved for women who object to sitting beside a man due to their Islamic faith. As an extra 'service', the orthodox ladies may sit in the first rows of the balcony.

"Whether the option will actually be utilised remains to be seen", Joyce van Dongen of Theater Zuidplein stated. "Fifty is an estimate made by Salaheddine's management. Since the show is an opening night, we have no previous shows to serve as an example". If called for, a larger number of separate seats would be arranged, according to Van Dongen.

Do you think it can't happen here? There are already footbaths being installed in airports and universities across the US, and gender segregated swimming pools. In Norway, Islamic clerics are trying to stop women police officers from arresting male criminals.                                                                        

As the influence of Islam grows,the seemly innocuous demands for sharia compliant buildings and customs will be catered to by well intended Westerners in the name tolerance and multi-culturism.

Once these Islamic precedents are set in place, it will be nearly impossible to remove them without appearing to victimize Muslims.

Given that scenario, genuine tolerance will be replaced with gender segregation, the erosion of women's rights, censorship and intolerance not seen since the Dark Ages.
Islamists are not here to be liberalized.

The First Warning

Sixteen years ago today, Osama bin Laden struck his first blow against the United States. His henchmen drove a rental truck full of explosives into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center. The resulting terrorist attack killed six and injured over a thousand people. Ramzi Yousef masterminded the plot in four months while spending about ten thousand dollars on the scheme. First thought to be an accident, investigators found the vehicle identification number on a three hundred pound piece of
metal remains of the rental truck. The FBI traced the number to the rental agency and arrested Mohammed Salameh when he returned to collect a four hundred dollar deposit on the truck. The four men directly involved were all arrested and sentenced to 240 years of prison.

CBS reports;

"It should have been a wake-up call for America," said New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly, who held the same position at the time. "We simply didn't see it as an international conspiracy to destroy our society."

Largely because our government refused to acknowledge the importance of jihad in Islam.
The History Channel has this story listed in the crime section, and doesn't mention Islam or terrorism at all. Never mind recognizing the enemy, we couldn't even identify the motives, or connect the dots between this and previous attacks.

The significance of the attack "was not fully understood by the critical mass of the United States until Sept. 11, 2001," said James Kallstrom, a former FBI assistant director who is now Gov. George Pataki's senior adviser on terrorism.

I would say we still haven't.

The 1995 capture of Yousef in Pakistan signaled the emergence of a wealthy benefactor: Osama bin Laden. Yousef was found in a guest house for Afghan war veterans financed by bin Laden. He had sought refuge there after failing in a plot in the Philippines to kill 4,000 people by blowing up 12 U.S.-bound airliners.

A computer used by Yousef and interrogations of another terrorist who lived with him in Manila revealed that several Middle Eastern pilots were training at American flight schools. At least one had proposed hijacking a plane to crash into federal buildings.

Yet we still let Osama Bin Laden go free back in 1998 for fear some UAE Prince's might get killed in the process. Five years later we're trying to sell 21 of our ports to a UAE government-owned company. It's interesting what both of these incidents have in common. "We don't want to send the wrong message"

Steven Crowder gets death threats from Muslims

Last week vlogger Steven Crowder posted The Qur'an CHALLENGE! and the predictable response has followed. The aforementioned video is now listed as "no longer available" and Crowder is the newest member of the List of things that offend Islam.

God forbid you insinuate the religion of Islam is anything short of peaceful. It only results in responses such as these:

“DEATH WILL FIND YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE EVEN IF YOUR ON THE MOON WITH WALLS BUILD UP HIGH DEATH WILL STILL COME AND FIND YOU”

“ur a freaken racist pig… otherwise u wouldnt be making any sarcastic remarks…u just got the worst reputation amoungst muslims that I showed that video to…they were cursing u like crazy….take my advice and remove that racist video”

“you should actually post a new video, correcting the mistakes you made in this video, and im sure you know which ones you made, because that’s the only way that’s gonna save you from a freak accident.”

“FYI, i am glad, because if u said this to my face, u would be on the floor. simple. u come here and disrespect me, forget me, u disrespect the prophet pbuh, u expect me to just sit by, u disrespect the quran and then u try to play it off. u r a joke. a joke. dont EVER do this again. EVER.”

“u should make a video apologize to the muslim community. thats the only option u have.”

Charming.  In their defense folks… My video IS classified as hate speech. At least, that’s what thousands of Muslims said whilst flooding YouTube with constant “flagging.” In case you haven’t yet heard, there are actual online Muslim networks that exist solely for this purpose. The minute anything even remotely critical of Islam pops up online, thousands of members are notified and are commanded to flag, spam and utilize comment suppression techniques that ultimately result in the video’s removal and permanent banning of the user.

The frightening part is that their “Denial of Service” tactics are devastatingly effective, extremely covert and easily mobilized.  I guess that a nation of people who can’t fire their Kalashnikovs without blowing out a shoulder socket have finally found a way to level the playing. Allah Akbar!

Multimedia sites are becoming a playground for liberal propaganda and unfair censorship… All in the name of “tolerance.”  My question to you is this: What can you do to help stop it? What can we ALL do to counterbalance the growing offense that’s been mounted?

We can start by supporting people like Geert Wilders and Steven Crowder.

Alchohol, Lady Cops and Cricket

Sounds like a fun afternoon in England, but today's update of the List of Things That Offend Muslims is a hat trick of offenses to Islam.

Most of you probably know that drinking is forbidden in Islam, but this Imam is saying it's forbidden even when used in fuel.

A Saudi imam has issued a fatwa or religious edict, banning the use of alcohol as a fuel substitute for petrol. "I warn Saudi students that live abroad not to use alcohol as a cheap substitute for petrol, because the prophet has cursed not only who drinks it but also those who use it for other purposes," said the Saudi imam Mohammed al-Najimi, quoted by Saudi daily, Shams.

"The prophet has cursed whoever uses alcohol, not only for drinking but also other purposes."

Al-Najimi, who is also a member of the Saudi Islamic jurists, said that using alcohol falls within the 'jurisdiction' of what Islam's prophet Mohammed said.

"For this reason, I warn Saudis who live abroad and who use alcohol instead of petrol that this case is related and falls within the parameters of what the prophet said."

The Saudi daily claims that many students and researchers who live in western countries use alcohol as an alternative source of fuel, because it is cheaper, pollutes less and many automobiles lately have been made to run with alcohol.

Clearly, Mohammed would only drive a gas powered vehicle to pick up his 6 year old wife Aisha from school. Ha! Just kidding, girls are forbidden to go to school.

Speaking of females, next on the list is the great offense of Muslim men being arrested by female cops.

Norway: Islamic Council says female agents shouldn't arrest men

Female Muslim police agents should primarily not arrest men, thinks imam Ahmed Esmaili, head of the imam committee at the Islamic Council of Norway (IRN).

"If she must arrest, and she is alone or together with other women, then she can do it.  But if  she is together with other colleague, who can take this part of the work, she isn't required to do it," says Esmaili to VG.

The reason being that Muslims shouldn't have physical contact with people of the opposite sex who are not family.

According to justice minister Knut Storberget's (Labor) letter to the police directorate 'covering of the hair will be given a humble scope'.  That's not enough, thinks Esmaili.

"It's not enough with just a headscarf.  Hijab is a garment which covers the entire body, except the hands and face.  It's an obligation and a decree from Allah," says Esmaili.

Considering most crimes are committed by men, the Imams are basically saying that a female cop is forbidden to do her job properly. It's pretty easy to see where that will eventually lead.

Our last item added to the List takes to Jolly 'ole England where the madrasses are discouraging anything that is English.

Some Islamic schools are promoting fundamentalist views and encouraging children to despise Western society, a report warns.

An investigation by the Civitas social policy think-tank found websites of some of the UK’s 166 Muslim schools are spreading extreme teachings, while a handful had links to sites promoting jihad, or holy war.

Actually, jihad means struggle, like Mein Kaumf means "My Struggle".

Examples include web forums forbidding Muslims from reading Harry Potter books, playing chess or cricket and listening to Western music.

Harry Potter and chess are already on the list, but I was bit surprised to see cricket. The Islamic world is certainly no stranger to sport, so why cricket? I think here lies your answer.

Examples include the website of the Madani Girls’ School in East London which stated: ‘Our children are exposed to a culture that is in opposition with almost everything Islam stands for.

‘If we oppose the lifestyle of the West then it does not seem sensible that the teachers and the system which represents that lifestyle should educate our children.’

So why would a devout Muslim immigrate to England in the first place?

Qur'an:8:39 "So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world)."

Ishaq:324 "He said, 'Fight them so that there is no more rebellion, and religion, all of it, is for Allah only. Allah must have no rivals.'"

Naaaah, couldn't be that, it's probably just for the nice weather.

This Day in Islamic Terrorism: Swiss Air 330

The This Day in Islamic Terrorism series continues with February 21, 1970.

A Swiss Air flight 330 from Zurich bound for Tel Aviv was bombed in mid-air nine minutes after takeoff by the PFLP General Command, a PFLP splinter group. Forty-seven innocent souls lost their lives to Islam, 15 of whom were Israelis. The bomb, placed in the cargo hold, was triggered by a change in atmospheric pressure. While the crew attempted to turn the plane back to the airport, smoke in the cockpit and the loss of electrical power thwarted their efforts.

While the PFLP-GC initially claimed responsibility, when it became obvious the civil people the world over were repulsed by their crime, they disclaimed it. It was as if their words meant something.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) was established in April 1968 by Ahmed Jabril. At the time, he was a member of the PFLP, the PLO, and a captain in the Syrian Army. He was a good Muslim jihadist, who wanted to focus more on terrorism and less on politics. As such, the PFLP-GC exists to perpetuate armed insurrection against Israel. Their logo describes their purpose and their methods. Israel is painted entirely in Islamic green with crossed assault rifles superimposed over the nation.

On the same day, a bomb exploded aboard a Vienna-bound Caravelle after takeoff from Frankfurt. The Caravelle landed safely.
