Barack Obama may say that Israel has no better friend than himself, but Jesse Jacksonbegs to differ.
Amir Taheri wrote in yesterday’s New York Post that Jackson hailed a
new era in American foreign policy, where the “Zionists” would no
longer control American action:
He promised “fundamental changes” in US foreign policy -
saying America must “heal wounds” it has caused to other nations,
revive its alliances and apologize for the “arrogance of the Bush
administration.”
The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end.
Jackson believes that, although “Zionists who have controlled
American policy for decades” remain strong, they’ll lose a great deal
of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
This is the usual Jewish-cabal conspiracy-theory claptrap. America has always pursued its own
interests in the Middle East. Not surprisingly, our interests have
coincided with those of the only democratic nation in the area. We
have allied with Israel because Israel is a reliable ally, not run by
religious extremists and not funding terrorists, either officially or
unofficially.
At least Jesse managed not to use the term Hymies like he did during his own 1984 Presidential campaign. It's interesting how Jackson reveals his attitudes towards Jews during such critical moments.
Buried 13 years deep inside the archives at Biography.com, the biography of Farrakhan includes this statement:
In 1995, along with other prominent black leaders such as Al Sharpton and Barack Obama, Farrakhan helped lead the Million Man March on Washington. A second march, called the Millions More Movement, took place in 2005.
A Muhammad look-a-like competition is
slated to take place during the Frankfurt Book Fair, and it has already
offended and outraged people far beyond Germany. But Titanic, the
monthly satirical magazine behind the inflamatory event, insists: "It
will be a blast."
Titanic, the German satire magazine, is never far from polemics,
but its latest action takes its reputation for controversy to new
heights: It is staging a Muhammad look-a-like competition -- and has
invited the Turkish President Abdullah Gül to take part.
Turkish newspapers were quick to react to the "unbelievable
competition," which is to be held parallel to the Frankfurt Book Fair,
where Turkey will be the guest country this year. The popular Turkish
daily Sabah drew parallels with the infamous Muhammad cartoons published in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten newspaper in 2005, which sparked death threats and protests across the Muslim world, with some escalating into violence.
According to its Web site, however, Titanic is going ahead
with its look-alike contest: "Come along to the most dangerous event of
the Frankfurt Book Fair ... It will be a blast," it wrote. The
competition, to be held on Oct. 18, is set to take place on a specially
built stage at the state-funded Caricatura Museum in Frankfurt. Achim
Frenz, head of the museum, said it was designed to test of the
boundaries of "jokes and fun." The museum's Web site comments: "Of
course it is a sin to represent the prophet. For this reason, we are
trying to do something exceptional."
Nine participants are expected to take part, including Osman Engin,
a Turkish-German satirist, and Hans Zippert, a prominent columnist for
the conservative daily Die Welt. During the competition there
will be readings from the Koran and participants will be encouraged to
mimic the Muslim prophet. "Of course you can never create a picture of
the prophet," the magazine claims in a flyer advertising the event,
"but you can try to emulate him."
Titanic, the German equivalent of Britain's Private Eye,
has a track record of inflamatory stunts, including hoax bribery faxes
sent in 2000 to delegates of the FIFA soccer world championship
committee, urging them to support the German bid for the 2006 World
Cup. In return for their votes, Titanic offered gifts of a cuckoo clock and Black Forest ham. Titanic
also founded its own political party, Die Partei (the party), which
lists the rebuilding of the Berlin Wall as one of its goals.

We cannot oppose Barack Obama without also opposing the party he
represents, along with Republicans who enable socialist engineering.
Barack Obama is not the only socialist who seeks elective office in
November.
Why do we oppose Barack Obama? As comedian Jackie
Mason recently reminded us, Barack Obama is popular because of the way
he looks, the way he talks, and the way he presents himself – but
remember that’s his field of expertise. His primary accomplishments
include looking good, lying with a straight face, and associating
himself with powerful radical activists. When you think about it, he is
exactly who un-American liberals want living in the White House. Last
week, we argued that Barack Obama is an empty suit. This week, we
should admit the suit isn’t completely empty … there are dangerous,
anti-American forces at work within the Obama election infrastructure. Read on.
An FBI
Investigation Reveals CAIR's Founder Omar Ahmad "A Leader Of The
Palestinian Committee"
"The Philadelphia Meeting"
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, (CAIR), claims to represent
Islam in North America and to protect “Muslim” civil rights despite
absolute proof that CAIR is supporting
Islamic terrorists, and that CAIR was established in America by those
who wish to harm our country using
our constitution as protection. Many Americans, including some in
political
leadership, continue to insist that CAIR is a positive voice for
Muslims in
North America.
Americans are a tolerant people; we understand
what it means to be
persecuted and marginalized by oppressive leaders and our forefathers
gave us a
legacy that has kept us free for over 200 years. We now face a
new enemy, an enemy who uses
religion to justify the most heinous of crimes; an enemy who will use
any means
necessary, including terror-murdering innocent women and children, to
advance
their warped vision of “paradise on Earth”.
CAIR has consistently shown that it is not
only on the wrong side in
the war on terror, but also actively supports Islamic terrorist
movements
and terrorists. Anti-CAIR has reviewed
evidence from the Holy Land
Foundation trial and has produced the following report. Click here to read it all.
Some of the critics of the List have said that they could easily make a list of things that offend Christians or Jews. Fair enough, but you'd be hard pressed to find a rabbi or priest calling for the death penalty for homosexuals and adulterers.
“Homosexuality is a great sin in Islam. It is as grievous
as adultery, and the punishment is the same. Homosexuals are
to be condemned to death,” he told Sunday Sun in an
interview in Lagos.
Just in case you think this is an isolated incident, read this, this, this, this, and this.
1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to
increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT
VOTE THAT WAY.
2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama
never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud
Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden
attacked him for it.
3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has
opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to
“raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”
4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and
Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the
field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the
President of the United States had already said he would veto
regardless of it’s passage.
5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but
he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal
plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and
coal in the U.S. Senate.
6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is
exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for
alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.
7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on
people's health insurance coverage -- they get a tax credit to offset
any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is
false
8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax
in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a
windfall profits tax.
9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military
commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied
to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security
Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were
principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that
could be applied in Afghanistan.
10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead
wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the
war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been
proven right.
12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000
wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise
taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.
13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the
four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two
of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that
it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part
of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the
G-20.”
14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama,
Americans won't pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.
Kuwait
Human Rights Society (KHRS) Chairman Dr Adel Al-Damkhi has asked the
government to put pressure on the officials of ‘YouTube’ — a video
sharing website — to delete all derogatory statements about Islam and
Muslims from the site, reports Al-Seyassah. Urging the authorities
to take the necessary legal action in case the website fails to erase
the statements, Al-Damkhi stressed “uttering profanities against
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the worst form of human rights violation in
the world. Attacks on the values and tenets of Islam are extremely
dangerous and unacceptable.” Al-Damkhi pointed out the United
Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) strongly condemns attacks on the
holy prophets and religions. He confirmed KHRS recognizes the
importance of freedom of conducting scientific research, exchange of
information, and significance of the latest technologies and media on
human lives, but it is against how ‘YouTube’ depicts Islam. He said
this is an outright violation of the human rights of millions of
Muslims all over the world. Source.
