Superior Carbon Neutral Humans Discovered

Deep in the thickest forest of the Amazon region of Brazil, scientists have discovered a small commune that is completely carbon neutral.

"It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" said noted greenologist Dr Kermit Goretree. "They produce no carbon emissions of any kind, their love of the planet is complete. At first we thought they were just hippies, but they were much too clean and the whole village is devoid of volkswagens and lavalamps".

Goretree went on excitedly, "They are totally committed to the earth, we registered the entire village as a 0.000002 on the pollutometer. That's a lower Co2 rating than the flatulence of a typical field mouse. We believe that all their foods are organic, possibly vegan, but there's just not enough evidence to confirm that at this time. They are definitely off grid, as far as we know none of them even has an email address".

The tribe has apparently put a ban on all guns. "They are probably pacifists. There were no signs of military might. There are no flags on even street names, it's just like they listened to John Lennon's Imagine and really got it, y'know?"

Some scientists are skeptical however, claiming that no such tribe exists.

But Goretree quickly dismisses such claims. "That's why we did the flyovers. We filled the greenocopter full of grassoline and snapped some photos. It's indisputable proof. They welcomed us in their special carbon neutral way by shooting arrows at us, which we believe are symbolic of cupids arrows, for a people who so love the planet must also love us too."


Goretree is looks forward to a future similar to the what he's seen in the rainforest. "There's a lot we can learn from these people, how do they prepare food and heat their homes without creating Co2? Are they willing to teach us their advanced methods? If so, what will be the cost?"

Working with officials in the UN, Goretree is attempting to put together a global tax in order to extract this vital, cleaner, technology.

"It's the only way we are going to be able to get it done, to make the world carbon neutral, is to implement a tax. When you look at the tribe, you see no rich people there. I think it's safe to say that none of them are capitalists, and certainly no republicans!"

Muslim Polygamy in the US

Although polygamy is illegal in the U.S. and most mosques try to discourage plural marriages, some Muslim men in America have quietly married multiple wives.

No one knows how many Muslims in the U.S. live in polygamous families. But according to academics researching the issue, estimates range from 50,000 to 100,000 people.

You can see some of the women involved in polygamous marriages in the lobby of Sanctuary for Families, a nonprofit women's center in New York City. It bursts with color as a dozen women in bright African dresses and head wraps gather for a weekly noon meeting for West African immigrants. The women come each week to this support group where they discuss hard issues, such as domestic abuse, medical problems, immigration hurdles and polygamy.

Polygamy is freely practiced in parts of Africa, and almost every one of the women in the group has experienced polygamy firsthand – either as a wife in a plural marriage or having been raised in families with one father who has two or more wives. Read on.

Under sharia law, a man is allowed to have four wives.

Bible Verse Coin Offends Muslims

A common misconception among Western Christians is that since Islam is an Abrahamic faith, that Muslims are naturally understanding and friendly to their Christian brethren. But the List has proven this myth to be untrue many times.

It's against the law in Saudi Arabia to build a church or carry a Bible. Even in mostly Christian Australia, a hospital has banned Bibles out of fear of offending Muslims. In Turkey, three Christians were tied and had their throats slit for distributing Bibles, four Christians were jailed for street evangelizing.

Muslim converts to Christianity are often under threat of death.

So, we shouldn't be surprised when we read about Muamar Anad's fear of a simple coin with John 3:16 printed on it. He knows what the punishment is for a Muslim to consider another religion.

At the western entrance to Fallujah on Tuesday, Muamar Anad handed his residence badge to the U.S. Marines guarding the city. They checked to be sure that he was a city resident, and when they were done, Anad said, a Marine slipped a coin out of his pocket and put it in his hand.

Out of fear, Anad accepted it, he said. When the college student was inside the city, he looked at one side of the coin. “Where will you spend eternity?” it asked.

He flipped it over, and on the other side it read, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.”

“They are trying to convert us to Christianity,” said Anad, a Sunni Muslim like most residents of this Anbar province city. At home, he told his story, and his relatives echoed their disapproval: They also had been given the coins, he said.

CAIR: Stereotyping Muslim Terrorists Wrong

On May 23, the Seattle Times carried an article by religion reporter Janet Tu titled: “Does course on Islam give law enforcers wrong idea?”

    Some local Muslims are apparently concerned that the program, “The Threat of Islamic Jihadists to the World”, conducted by Miami-based Security Solutions International (SSI), may promote stereotypes and ethnic/religious profiling. 

 

    According to the article, the course provides insight into the formative phases of Islam, the religion’s different branches, radical Islam and information on how to respond to terrorist acts.

 

    In short, SSI is providing a well-thought out course designed to prepare local law enforcement for the day when they will confront Islamic terrorism in their city.

    Unsurprisingly, the Washington State chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) must rise to the defense of Islamic terrorists by implying that the program will somehow cause law enforcement officers to respond inappropriately when they come into contact with Muslims. 

 

    Washington State chapter president Arsalan Bukhari apparently believes the program may link Islam to terrorism:

 

"Most police officers don't have a basic grounding in Islam, so before you teach them about Islam, how can you teach them about radical Islam?...it just makes you nervous because when a law-enforcement person pulls someone over, when they see a Muslim person or someone who appears Muslim to them — all this information they just learned kicks in."

Bukhari mentions an incident that occurred last summer when the FBI launched an international search for two men who took photos below deck on a Washington state ferry. The men were later found to be tourists.

 

    Bukhari failed to mention that the two men:

• Traveled on as many as six different ferries.
• Seemed inordinately interested in the operation of the vessel.
• Took photographs of the interior of the boats.
• Accessed areas tourists and commuters usually don’t.

    In other words, the two men were acting suspiciously; suspiciously enough that the ferry captain took their photo and asked law enforcement for help.

 

    Bukhari complained that while law-enforcement agencies need to learn about Islam, they need to do so not just in the context of terrorism. 

 

    CAIR, with proven connections to Islamic terrorism, is not the organization to lecture anyone about peaceful Islam; peaceful Islam is as foreign to CAIR as civil rights are to Al Queda.

 

    Solomon Bradman, SSI CEO, said this:

"I can't take the responsibility of my course linking their religion to terrorism.
I think their religion got linked to terrorism a long time ago."

Bukhari’s complaint that law enforcement personnel would somehow negatively “profile” Muslims is curious.

    For example:

• Every member of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is white; do law enforcement officers automatically assume that every white person they pull over belongs to the KKK? 

    Seattle Port Police Chief Colleen Wilson met with CAIR representatives and offered to have them provide additional training. Bukhari has accepted the offer.

 

    Too bad Chief Wilson didn’t investigate CAIR before extending her offer. CAIR’s proven ties to Islamic terrorism, support for Islamic terrorist states, and efforts in support of activities designed to undermine our government renders CAIR not suitable to provide any kind of training to members of law enforcement. 

 

    Maybe SSI will one day provide training on this terrorist front group that is a clear and present danger?

 

    One can only hope …

Muslims Sue over Work Uniforms

Common sense would indicate that wearing loose fitting clothing around heavy machinery might be a bad idea, but followers of sharia think otherwise. Of course, if these women were truely following sharia, they wouldn't be working outside the home without a male relative with them at all times. But never mind that kaffir, we're going to sue.

A group of Muslim workers allege they were fired by a New Brighton tortilla factory for refusing to wear uniforms that they say were immodest by Islamic standards.

Six Somali women claim they were ordered by a manager to wear pants and shirts to work instead of their traditional Islamic clothing of loose-fitting skirts and scarves, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a civil liberties group that is representing the women.

The women have filed a religious discrimination complaint with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. …

Gruma Corp., the Irving, Texas-based parent company of Mission Foods, released a written statement Tuesday denying that any employees were terminated or disciplined at the New Brighton plant. However, the company made clear the six women have been relieved of their responsibilities for the time being, and may ultimately lose their jobs if they don’t wear uniforms.

I wonder if CAIR will want to establish this method in court?

Qur'an 4:15 "If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; if they testify, confine them to houses until death [by starvation] claims them."

Muslim Illegally accesses Nuke Plant Computer

You would think this would be big news. The security of a nuclear plant near a major metropolitan area compromised, and this is the first I've heard of it.  Whoever is in charge of background checks at the plant in question needs to be transferred immediately.

An Iranian engineer has been convicted of illegally accessing a protected computer to use software he obtained at a former job at the largest U.S. nuclear plant.

Mohammad Reza Alavi faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 (€158,600) fine after being convicted Tuesday of illegally accessing a computer. A sentencing hearing has not yet been set.

The jury deadlocked on two other charges of stealing protected software from Phoenix's Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and illegally exporting it in violation of the U.S. trade embargo with Iran.

A second trial has been scheduled for August to retry him on those charges.

Defense attorney David Laufman says he plans to file a motion to overturn the guilty verdict.

Is Osama bin Laden Dead?

I'm not going to celebrate yet. But one of the Taliban's own is saying OBL is no more.

A top Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud has rejected reports that al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, and other leaders are hiding in his region.
"The al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden is dead, and the Afghan Taliban leader, Mullah Omar, are not in our territory," he said in an interview broadcast by a satellite television network.

Funeral prayers have been said for Osama bin Laden over the years with one reported by a Pakistani news  organisation, and another in an Egyptian newspaper as far back as December 2001.

This report quoted an official of the Taliban saying that he had suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death.

The news has been reported that he died of heart and kidney disorders. Americans and Pakistani leaders have suggested that he was one, killed in the US bombing of Afghanistan, died of illness later, or just died.

The pro-Taliban leader who is based in Pakistan's tribal area of South Waziristan denied hosting the Saudi leader in local villages, as US intelligence officials suspect.

Mehsud also rejected claims by the government in Islamabad that he was responsible for the assassination in December of Pakistan People's Party leader, Benazir Bhutto. "It wasn't us who killed Bhutto," he said.

He was quoted saying that the ex Prime minister was murdered because of the reason her leak to the media.

Benazir Bhutto had said Osama Bin Laden was murdered live on a British televevision interview with David Frost of the BBC on 2nd November 2007 has Benazir Bhutto mentioning that Osama Bin Laden was murdered 2 minutes into the video.

One has to be curious as to how a comment like this could not have leaked.
If it is true that Osama Bin Laden was murdered then it could completely turn U.S. Middle Eastern policy on its head.

However, with Saddam Hussein out of the picture, we have only one ' dead man' left. If that 'dead man' is dead, what would be the effect on the American elections 2008?

Taqiyaa? If so, to what end?

The War on Terror would lose a lot of steam if it were presumed OBL was dead. Many Pols would call this sufficient cause to withdrawal from both Iraq and Afghanistan. The equivalent of Hitler's death, staging the end of hostilities. But even the Talibam know that without proof the US isn't going to take their word for it, and Robert Spencer rightly notes that OBL or no OBL, the jihad will continue. There is also the possibility that losing OBL would be a major blow to Taliban recruiting, making the propaganda counterproductive.

Carter Wants to give nukes to Iran

You know, Iran, that country that wants to "wipe Israel off the map", denies the holocaust, and once called Israel a "rotten, dried up tree that will annihilated". Yes, same Iran that held American hostages during Carter's Presidency. So Jimmy knows he can trust them.

TEHRAN (FNA)

 Former US President Jimmy Carter urged Washington to establish friendly ties with Tehran, reiterating the need for his country to resume trade relations with Iran, which he described as a "rational" nation.

Speaking at the Hay Festival yesterday, Carter also suggested the US should provide nuclear power technology and fuel to Iran as a show of goodwill.

"What happens if, in three years' time, Iran has a nuclear weapon," Carter asked. "I'm not sure that is going to happen, but if it does, what do we do? They are rational people like all of us in this room. Do they want to commit suicide? I would guess not. So what we have to do is talk with them now and say to them we want to be their friends," the former US president said.

Given Iran's record with Hamas and Hezbollah, I think we can be pretty sure Jimmy.

"The United States must let Iran know that we want to give them fuel and everything they need for a non-military nuclear program. Twenty-five years ago we cut off trading with Iran. We've got to resume trading to show Iran we are friends."

Carter also criticized President George Bush, saying it was a "serious mistake and terrible departure" from the actions of previous US presidents not to engage with countries with which they differed.

"The president of the administration in Washington is the first one to have ever done this and I think we close off ourselves from any sort of rational accommodation of the views of other parties in order to reach out on major goals," said Carter, in a further interview with Sky Arts, to be broadcast today.
