Honor Killing in Iraq

Another beautiful life snuffed out for the sake of Islam.

A teenage Iraqi girl who fell in love with a British soldier when he was in Basra was murdered by her father in an "honour killing", it was revealed today.

Rand Abdel-Qader, 17, was suffocated and then hacked at with a knife after her family discovered she was friends with the 22-year-old soldier who she knew only as Paul.

The pair first met when Rand was working on an aid project for displaced families but it is thought the soldier is unaware of the girl's fate.

She was stamped on, suffocated and stabbed - leaving her with puncture wounds all over her body, including her face.

Her own mother, Leila Hussein, has spoken out about the crime, revealing how her husband called out that he was cleansing "his honour" as he carried out the murder.

She told the Observer he was arrested after the brutal murder but was released without charge two hours later because it was an "honour killing".

"He was released two hours later because it was an 'honour killing'. And unfortunately that is something to be proud of for any Iraqi man," she told the paper.

Sgt Ali Jabbar of Basra police said: "Not much can be done when we have an 'honour killing'. You are in a Muslim society and women should live under religious laws."

Even laws that allow for murder, God help them.

Barbie Threatens Iran

Good news! Surgical strikes against Iran's Nukes may not be necessary after all. According to Prosecutor General  Najafabadi, his country is defenseless against tiny plastic dolls.

Iran's toy market is being inundated by models of Barbie, Batman, Spiderman and Harry Potter and the young must be protected from their harmful cultural effects, the prosecutor general was quoted as saying on Sunday.

"Promoting figures like Barbie, Batman, Spiderman and Harry Potter and the uncontrolled import of CDs of video games and films should alarm all the country's officials," Ghorban Ali Dori Najafabadi was quoted as saying by the student ISNA news agency.

"We need to find substitutes to ward off this onslaught, which aims at children and young people whose personality is in the process of being formed," he added.

Dori Najafabadi's comments came in a letter to an Iranian vice president, urging measures to protect "Islamic culture and revolutionary values".

Translation: Beyond her good looks and wardrobe, Barbie is capable of doing anything that Ken does. You can purchase a Veterinarian Barbie, Olympian, Flight Attendant, Princess...and those are just the ones my daughter had. Therefore, Barbie is dangerous.

While officials regularly lambast Western culture for polluting the minds of the public, Western toys have become a regular and popular feature on the shelves of toy shops in Iran in recent years.

Translation: People prefer freedom to Iran's overbearing, sharia-style iron fist.

Affluent Iranian parents are known for indulging their children and the purchase of such toys has become for many an obligatory treat.

But Dori Najafabadi said: "These toys, which do not respect the required norms, present dangers for the health of children and affect the survival of toy factories in this country."

Translation: Barbie's flying off the self and our own toy makers are pissed!

Two years ago, police raided toy shops to put black stickers on the packaging of Barbie dolls to hide their bodies. In public in Iran, women must cover all bodily contours, a rule that Barbie conspicuously fails to obey.

Translation: Barbie encourages little girls to think for themselves. When they grow into women, they're going to demand rights.

Iran has already launched its answer to Barbie and her partner Ken -- Sara and Dara, who show full respect for the country's Islamic rules. But they have not succeeded in countering the popularity of Barbie.

Rev Wright at the National Press Club

Rev Wright isn't going away. He makes that very clear in this video. That's good news for McCain and possibly Hillary. His hatred is so complete that he can't acknowledge that spewing forth "G.D. America" as opposed to God Bless America is hateful and yes, unpatriotic.

Rev Wright embraces Louis Farrakhan's hate speech, praising him in the video. Farrakhan is on record as saying  that Jews, Palestinian Arabs, Koreans, and Vietnamese are collectively "bloodsuckers" and maintains that "Murder and lying comes easy for white people." He has referred to Jews specifically as "wicked and false". He is also quoted as saying "White people are potential humans — they haven't evolved yet" and He has also alluded to a figure called "Yacub" (or "Jacob") with reference to whites. According to Farrakhan's mentor, Elijah Muhammad, blacks were "born righteous and turned to unrighteousness," while the white race was "made unrighteous by the god who made them (Mr. Yacub)." Wright even defends Farrakhan's despicable "gutter religion" remark.

Yet, Rev Wright still admires Farrakhan as Obama still admires Rev Wright, and the press is too busy cheerleading to notice the bullet hole in their foot.

What has not been widely recognized is that the Ayatollah Khomeini’s 1989 fatwa against Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie introduced a new kind of jihad. Instead of assaulting Western ships or buildings, Kho­meini took aim at a fundamental Western freedom: freedom of speech. In recent years, other Islamists have joined this crusade, seeking to undermine Western societies’ basic liberties and extend sharia within those societies.

The cultural jihadists have enjoyed disturbing success. Two events in particular—the 2004 assassination in Amsterdam of Theo van Gogh in retaliation for his film about Islam’s oppression of women, and the global wave of riots, murders, and vandalism that followed a Danish newspaper’s 2005 publication of cartoons satirizing Mohammed—have had a massive ripple effect throughout the West. Motivated variously, and doubtless sometimes simultaneously, by fear, misguided sympathy, and multicultural ideology—which teaches us to belittle our freedoms and to genuflect to non-Western cultures, however repressive—people at every level of Western society, but especially elites, have allowed concerns about what fundamentalist Muslims will feel, think, or do to influence their actions and expressions. These Westerners have begun, in other words, to internalize the strictures of sharia, and thus implicitly to accept the deferential status of dhimmis—infidels living in Muslim societies.

Call it a cultural surrender. The House of War is slowly—or not so slowly, in Europe’s case—being absorbed into the House of Submission. Read it all.

CAIR Slimes Joe Farah

An Anti-CAIR blogburst.

Joseph Farah is irate. And rightly so.

     The highly respected founder, editor and CEO of WorldNetDaily was blatantly slandered last week by CAIR's communication director, and terrorist supporter, Ibrahim Hooper.

     The Daily News had a column that referred to a new book from WND Books called  "Why We Left Islam: Former Muslims Speak Out."   

     Looking for a quote from a Muslim about the book, the columnists at the Daily News went to CAIR, specifically, Ibrahim Hooper:.

"This book is put out by WND Publishing (sic), which promotes hate every day
on its extremist anti-Muslim hate site. The editor is a guy who suggested
air-dropping pig's blood over Afghanistan."

     What Hooper has done here is exactly how Farah, in an Editorial, describes it:

"Hooper put a target on my back ... He also uttered a false and defamatory
statement about me that has yet to be corrected by the Daily News, has yet
to be withdrawn by Hooper and will undoubtedly be recycled in other venues"

     Over one week later, and only after Farah's editorial, CAIR sent this pathetic "explanation" to Farah from it's legal counsel Nadhira F. Al-Khalili:

"In the interest of accuracy," ... "Mr. Hooper was referring to a WorldNetDaily column,
presumably approved by you as editor of the website, which advocated telling
Afghans that the U.S. has 'enlisted Afghani (sic) moles to contaminate
their water supplies with pig's blood."

     Mr. Farah is justifiably not satisfied. He told Al-Khalili:

"Your client has an obligation to apologize for those comments
and seek correction at the point of publication"

     In one area there was some progress. The attorney for the Daily News has told Mr. Farah that they will publish a correction in the near future. The "explanation" given by CAIR's Al-Khalili, however,  is nothing but a middle-fingered salute straight back at Mr. Farah. It is absurd.

     Consider that Ibrahim Hooper is a top officer of America's number one Muslim Brotherhood created terror-front group: CAIR.

     Why would Hooper spew such an outrageous distortion of truth?  Because he undoubtedly feels that nobody will call him on it, or even investigate the fact that he fabricated a lie against Farah simply because WND is considered by many in the mainstream media as "right wing" and "pro-Israel" and that CAIR "advocates" for "oppressed" Muslims in America. Although Hooper got his legal servant to offer an excuse, this event should be far from over.

     Mr. Hooper knows exactly what he's doing. He may think he's untouchable.

     Picture Mr. Hooper clapping his claws like a little school-girl when his slanderous quote got published.

     Of course Hooper knows WND is a news source that actually practices "journalism" and has the integrity to carefully source all the facts they present in a story, unlike the Daily News, who couldn't be bothered to check on Hooper's claim concerning Farah. Could it be that Hooper was throwing mud at Farah in the hopes that it would stick, to offset actual damning expressions from CAIR Officials?

     Here's some true quotes from Hooper and other CAIR Officers. These quotes are actually sourced, factual, and at all times, objectionable.

      

Ibrahim Hooper:

"I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future...But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."

      Omar Ahmad:
"Those who stay in America should be open to society without melting, keeping Mosques open so anyone can come and learn about Islam. If you choose to live here, you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam ... Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

"Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam, that is not suicide," ..."They kill themselves for Islam."


" Politics is a completion of War "

      Nihad Awad:
  "I am in support of the Hamas movement."

"Address people according to their minds. When I speak with the American, I speak with someone who doesn't know anything."

      Ahmed Bedier:
"Catholic priests pose more of a terrorism threat by having sex with young altar boys than those who flew planes into the World Trade Center."

      Ahmad Al-Akhras:
"Americans in general might be more supportive of targeted attacks on civilians as part of the war on terror, than U.S. Muslims"


     Mr. Farah asks in "Farah v. CAIR":    "What should I do?"

      

Anti-CAIR feels that Joseph Farah and WND have always been extremely fair and accurate when they have published stories and investigative reports about CAIR. WND has always taken great pains to be truthful and source their material. We also feel that WND, in it's quest to actually practice journalism and fairness, comes off as soft and non threatening to the likes of Hooper. Since when have "just the facts" worried an Islamist like Hooper and CAIR? 

     CAIR may think they have nothing to fear from WND. After all, anything WND prints about CAIR is creatively refuted by CAIR and gobbled up by the mainstream media as "CAIR Myths" and just another attack by an "extremist anti-Muslim hate site."

     WND is a variety-type news source. They are complete in their coverage of daily national/world events and only deal with an issue about CAIR when it's newsworthy - like when another CAIR official is indicted, or when CAIR is exposed eagerly supporting a terrorist.

     And why should CAIR ever fear the mainstream media? When the New York Times or Washington Post write about CAIR, their "reporters" refuse to present the actual facts about CAIR because they don't want to "get down in the weeds" about CAIR, or because Muslims are "oppressed" in this country. Why should CAIR worry about WND or Joseph Farah?

     What should you do, Mr. Farah?

Fatwa over printing of holy names on bottles

99 bottles are banned on the wall, 99 bottles are baaaaanned,
take them down, change them around,
or else there'll be a fatwa caaaall!

A fatwa has been issued by Dubai Islamic Affairs Department (DIAD) to ban printing of names that include the 99 names of Almighty God such as Abdul Rahman, Abdullah, Abdul Salam as well as names of prophets and saints on the labels of sample bottles provided by hospitals and laboratories to the patients.

A top official at DIAD said the fatwa bans writing or printing the name of Almighty God on stool or urine samples desecrates the glorious names of God.

The DIAD advised the hospitals and laboratories to write the file number of the patients on the bottles.

The DIAD has alerted the Ministry of Health and Dubai Department of Health and Medical Services (DOHMS) to implement the decision in order to stop this practice immediately.

The official explained that “Asma-ul Husnaa” means the Excellent Names of Allah, which are also known as the 99 Attributes of God that are considered glorious and sacred.

E-mail Death Threat Extortion

There are a lot of internet scams out there, but this one may be the worst.

The Kingman Police Department has seen a substantial increase in reports of "e-mail death threat extortion."

In these scams, the sender of the e-mail says they have been hired to kill the recipient, and they offer to divulge the identity of who hired them in exchange for money.

The fee requested is usually in the thousands of dollars.

Some of the more recent e-mails have been sent by "Al-Quaeda Networks" at [email protected].

The aim of the entire e-mail is to create fear in the recipient and have money wired to the sender, usually via Money Grams or Western Union.

A search of the Internet has revealed thousands of these scams being perpetrated across the country.

The Kingman Police Department would like to assure the community that these are scams and should not be considered valid. Anyone who receives these threats and any other scam should delete the e-mail and block the sender.

Here's an example from StL today.

A woman who works downtown was told in an e-mail Wednesday night that the sender had been paid by someone to kill her but would renege for a price.

It said, in part, "Am very sorry for you my friend, is a pity that this is how your life is going to end as soon as you don't comply. … I don't have any business with you, my duty as I am mailing you now is just to KILL/ASSASINATE you and I have to do it as I have already been paid for that."

There have also been reports in Boise, ID, Colorado, Indiana, etc...

CAIR: Non-Profit?

An Anti-CAIR Blogburst.

In an article carried by MyrtleBeachOnline.com, Rep. Sue Myrick says she wants America to “wake up” and do something about terrorism.

     To that end, Rep. Myrick has introduced a ten-points plan apparently designed to both alert Americans to the threat of terrorism and also lay out a blue-print for taking action now to hopefully prevent incidents in future.

     Among Myrick’s points (Wake Up America”) is a call for examining the tax exempt status of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) a Washington, D.C. based front group that supports Islamist terrorism and Islamist terrorists in North America .

     When Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR spokesman, was asked about Myrick’s plan, he attempted to tie in valid concerns about CAIR to "anti-Muslim hate sites" on the internet:

"It sounds like your usual laundry list of talking points you can see
on anti-Muslim hate sites on the Internet"

     Typical of Hoopers disingenuous attempt to paint CAIR as the innocent victim, he completely failed to explain why CAIR shouldn’t be investigated. 

    

For instance, can Hooper:

     -  Deny that CAIR receives foreign funding?
     -  Refute accusations that CAIR actively supports Islamist terrorists and terrorist groups?
     -  Show that CAIR is not in America as part of a plan to overthrow the government and replace it with an Islamic theocracy?
     -  Explain just how CAIR should retain its tax exempt status in light of CAIR’s dirty hands?

     Hooper can’t credibly defend CAIR from any of these accusations and he knows it. 

     So, he does the next best thing which is to play the “woe is us” card.

     It looks like Rep. Myrick is one of those few in the Congress who “gets it” when it comes to radical Islam.

     We wish her luck in her investigation of CAIR and we have no doubt that if she is able to fully investigate CAIR that not only will CAIR’s tax exempt status be in jeopardy, perhaps the whole organization will be as well ...
