Teddy Bear Teacher Found Guilty

Fortunately, she's only getting 15 days in jail, not the 40 lashes usually prescribed. She's also going to be deported when her sentence is up. Good for her, a return to civilization is just the ticket.

THE British teacher who allowed her pupils in a Sudan school to name a teddy bear Muhammad was last night jailed for inciting religious hatred, but escaped a possible sentence of 40 lashes.
