If you didn't catch Congressman Tancredo on O'Reilly last night, Hot Air has the video. Tancredo talks about his wish for the President to pardon Border Patrol agents who fired upon drug runners. Bush probably won't grant the pardon, but he has pardoned these guys.
The Border Patrol risk their lives every day to protect us from drug runners, here's today's example,
Shots were fired at Border Patrol agents trying to make a routine immigration check.
Agents are now investigating the incident. It happened south of San Juan after 5 p.m.
Border Patrol representative Oscar Saldana says agents were trying to stop a vehicle for a routine immigration check. The driver didn't stop and instead drove the vehicle into the river.
That's when shots were fired at the agents. It's not clear if the driver was the shooter. Saldana says none of the agents were hurt.
The vehicle is still in the river. Saldana says there could be drugs in the vehicle. Video
