Muslim Cleric: Every Muslim Should Be a Terrorist

One of the common arguments against the critics of Jihad is that it wrongly associates Islam with terrorism.  It's a "religion of peace" we are told. No matter how many examples of Muslim clerics preaching violent Jihad are offered, and no matter how many Jihadist's themselves claim they are are acting in the name of Allah, we still hear the same refrain. Even worse, the media often glosses over or completely ignores the constant threats and Koranic justifications often associated with todays terrorism.
Today's example is Indian Muslim cleric Ashraf Mohamedy, who claims that every Muslim should be a terrorist.

He also claims that America would be better off under sharia law, and that women who shun the hijab are invitations to rape.

But at the same time, a fundamentalist doctor causes good in society. He cures and he heals, and he is much desired by society.

"I am proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim, because I know, I follow, and I strive to practice the teachings of Islam. Every Muslim should be proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim. That is because none of the teachings of Islam causes any harm to society. On the contrary, it causes.... it gives benefits to society. On the basis of this knowledge, every Muslim should be proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim." [...]

"I would stress that every Muslim should be a terrorist. I repeat: Every Muslim should be a terrorist. A terrorist is a person who terrifies others, who terrorizes others. That is precisely the reason we have the police. As soon as the robber sees the policeman, he is terrified, he is terrorized. Similarly, the Muslims should terrorize the anti-social elements in society. He should terrorize the robber, the decoy, the rapist. I know that 'terrorist' is taken as a concept of a person who terrorizes the common man. But we Muslims should be terrorists for the anti-social elements in society."

A fundamentalist scientist would by definition have to reject new ideas in science. So that means scientists of Einstein's era would have been forced to consider the Theory of Relativity blasphemy to fundamentalist science. All ideas would have to be derived from the first scientist (whoever that was), as the sole source of scientific fundamentalism.

So much for logic.

Anyway, it sounds like the terrorists are policemen of sharia, and the infidels are the "anti-social elements of society".

Sounds like he's confused on some things, but very sure of his belief that every Muslim should be a terrorist. I hope Rice and the State Department are listening. Can anyone say JIHAD.

Well, every Muslim who celebrates the Muslim new year celebrates terrorism (Mohammed's gang's slaughter of 900 Jewish men who had met with him under a flag of truce, the rape of their women and the enslavement of all who remained after their goods had been pillaged), so I guess even "peaceful" Sufis and the syncretic Kurdish Muslims (still strongly influenced by the indigenous Yezidism) at least give assent to Muslim terrorism.
