Rev Wright at the National Press Club

Rev Wright isn't going away. He makes that very clear in this video. That's good news for McCain and possibly Hillary. His hatred is so complete that he can't acknowledge that spewing forth "G.D. America" as opposed to God Bless America is hateful and yes, unpatriotic.

Rev Wright embraces Louis Farrakhan's hate speech, praising him in the video. Farrakhan is on record as saying that Jews, Palestinian Arabs, Koreans, and Vietnamese are collectively "bloodsuckers" and maintains that "Murder and lying comes easy for white people." He has referred to Jews specifically as "wicked and false". He is also quoted as saying "White people are potential humans — they haven't evolved yet" and He has also alluded to a figure called "Yacub" (or "Jacob") with reference to whites. According to Farrakhan's mentor, Elijah Muhammad, blacks were "born righteous and turned to unrighteousness," while the white race was "made unrighteous by the god who made them (Mr. Yacub)." Wright even defends Farrakhan's despicable "gutter religion" remark.

Yet, Rev Wright still admires Farrakhan as Obama still admires Rev Wright, and the press is too busy cheerleading to notice the bullet hole in their foot.

Why does Rev Wright need to say at home and not defend himself against the attacks?

Obama the politician is not defending him.

Obama flicked off traditional black power brokers such as Sharpton and Jackson.

Black folks surprised us pundits by accepting the notion that Obama didn't have to touch base with these traditional leaders to get black votes, and white voters seemed pretty ready to disregard complaints from these figures, given his success with black constituencies.

It's been humorous watching Obama attempt to distance himself from the hateful "spiritual advisor" he's embraced for the past 20 years. Funny what a run for the White House can do to one's friends, eh?

kevin - i do believe wright is trying his dayamdest to do hussein obama in, especially now in light of who hosted him at the npc - a hillary supporter - how brazen will they get?
