Ron Paul Should Resign
The Man is clearly out of his league is this debate. The newsletter story should have knocked him out of the race for good, but Paul gets a pass from the media because he makes the GOP look archaic.
Hot Air has an example of what I talking about, Blitzer lets Paul drone on with his talking points while dodging pertinent questions about his own newsletter. Remember, former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott was forced to resign for a lot less.
Here's the dreaded quote that killed Lott's career.
When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either.
Compare that to Ron Paul's newsletters.
"opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions," "if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be,"
"America's number one need is an unlimited white checking account for underclass blacks."
He's unfit to run for, let alone occupy the White House.
