Taliban Attack on Cheney Failed: Left Saddened

The left wing of the blogosphere has shown it's true face after news that Vice President Dick Cheney survived a terrorist attack carried out by the Taliban while visiting Afghanistan.

A suicide bomber attacked the entrance to the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan Tuesday during a visit by Vice President Dick Cheney, killing up to 23 people and wounding 20. The Taliban claimed responsibility and said Cheney was the target.

Cheney’s spokeswoman said he was fine, and the vice president later met with President Hamid Karzai in the capital, Kabul, before leaving the country.

The Daily Kos post is titled; Oh crap! Cheney is about to get even more paranoid and insane!

Damn! Not damn because they missed the giant Dick, I don't wish him dead(okay maybe I do, but I'm working really hard on being a kinder, more forgiving person.) but because this is just going to fuel his paranoid delusional fantasies that the terrorists are coming to get him.

It's treasonous, plain and simple, to wish that the VP be assassinated by the same people who carried out 9/11. Malkin has a huge round-up, including lots of the vile and profane comments at Huffpo, DU, and Kos. Question their patriotism? They have none to question.

Comments

The left's death-to-Cheney chorus was discussed last night on Hannity and Colmes. Colmes--freaky, anyway--looked a bit dismayed that DailyKos et al had published such items.

I think that some of the posts were taken down. Nevertheless, the treasonous left exposed itself for a time, and people have heard about their vile hatred of our Vice President.

Malkin has a pdf download of the removed comments. I read a lot of them on the sites mentioned, it reads like the Taliban Fan Club.

What a bunch of scumbags. They really should be rounded up for treason.
