Of course Al-Jazeera would show an American Soldier being shot by a jihadi terrorist, but on the other hand, so would CNN.
Allah Pundit of Hot Air lays it on the line;
""There’s nothing wrong with showing enemy propaganda. We’ve done it here before and we’ll do it again, for the simple reason that it tells you something about the guy in the other trench: his motives, his methods of persuasion, and how far he’s willing to go.
What does this tell us, though? What did CNN hope to accomplish by showing it?
And why will they show snipers when they won’t show beheading videos? Or the Mohammed cartoons?""
As you may remember Ted Turner has stated publicly that he's not too sure who's side he's on.

Here's what I emailed,
Great, show the troops getting killed. Torment the families of the fallen. Dishearten the war effort so that Iraq falls into another dictatorship. But you're afraid to show the beheadings and the Mohammed cartoons. It's called dhimmitude.
