Muslims Mug Mozart
Hat tip, Michelle Malkin , who has lots of background on this story
Yes, that Mozart.
A security risk from the Religion of Peace? Surely they jest!
In the production, directed by Hans Neuenfels, King Idomeneo is shown staggering on stage next to the severed heads of Buddha, Jesus, Poseidon and the Prophet Mohammad, which sit on chairs.
So all the major religions are insulted , but only Muslims threaten violence, odd.
German politicians denounced the opera house's move, deputy parliamentary speaker Wolfgang Thierse saying it highlighted a new threat to free artistic expression in Germany.
"Has it come so far that we must limit artistic expression?" he told Reuters. "What will be next?"
Dhimmitude, that's my guess.
Peter Ramsauer, head of the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) in parliament, said the move pointed to a "naked fear of violence" and called it an act of "pure cowardice."
Of course, some prefer real beheadings , without all the music to distract. Mohammed didn't like music;
Bukhari:V7B69N494 “I
heard the Prophet saying, ‘From among my followers there will be some
who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the
drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical
instruments, to be lawful. Allah will destroy them during the night and
will let mountains fall on them. He will transform the rest into
monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Doom.'”
...riiiiight, the mountains are always falling on musicians. The Bible talks about music being a gift from God. Quite a contrast I'd say.

I don't like the Jesus head on a chair thing, but I'm not threatening to kill anyone... In fact, an act of pure cowardice like this one merely encourages more of the same behavior from the Islamofacists.

If the Muzzies don't want to go to the opera, they aren't forced to attend. It seems that the possibility of just ignoring what's offensive to them never occurs.
I seriously doubt that Muzzies attend many concerts. In my experience, Muzzies are not in the audience at the Kennedy Center, D.C.'s primary classical-music venue.
