Daily Kos Diarist Longs for the Death of Israel

On the day before Israel's triumphant 60th anniversary, a Daily Kos diarist decides it's a good time to post a vile piece of anti-Semitic propaganda.

LGF: Every obsessive antisemitic canard known to man is represented in this piece; the USS Liberty, “Zionist cancer,” “Zionist tentacles,” “the Mossad killed JFK,” blood libels, you name it. They’re all here.

The picture at the top of the post features a coffin superimposed over the Israeli flag.
The Diarist especially takes pleasure in pining for the imaginary corpse of Israel, and laughably quotes the Ayatollah Khomeini.

Israel's fate is uncertain, but I am positively certain it will, to paraphrase Ayatollah Khomeini, "vanish from the page of time". Its eventual destruction will be effectuated by its own hands -- the checkmate action that fit the personas of a maddeningly ambitious, ferocious, delusional and suicidal psychopath.

An interesting critique from Khomeini of all people, who supported suicide bombers. The writers hatred is unveiled as he describes Israel's self defense as "suicidal", while defending actual suicide bombers who's sole intent is the destruction of Jews.

But one shouldn't write this off as an extreme faction of the far left. Jimmy Carter, Obama, and his Pastor are close behind.

Obama's "57 States" Islamic?

Last week Obama claimed he'd campaigned in 57 states. A gross blunder for someone who wants to be President, or graduate from elementary school for that matter. But commenters Margaret and Jojo mentioned there just happen to be 57 Islamic states. I had never heard of that before, but a quick web search revealed that there are indeed, 57 Islamic states.

The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations. It groups 57 nations, most of which are Islamic, from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Caucasus, Balkan, Southeast Asia, South Asia and South America. The official languages of the organization are Arabic, English and French.

Atlas heard about it yesterday.

Although the blogs when wild,  I did not pay much mind to Obama's flub because people make mistakes and the disaster of an Obama presidency is far more dangerous than stupidity of not knowing how many states there are in the union. But when Ardeshir Dolat emailed me and pointed to what the source of the 57 states on Obama's mind, it made me think.

The OIC claims that Islamophobia is the worst kind of terrorism, and then, there is OIC’s explaining away of the 9/11 attacks, which “'expressed the frustration, disappointment, and disillusion that are festering deep in the Muslims’ soul towards the aggressions and discriminations committed by the West.'"

CAIR: Defending Terrorists Who Target American Muslims?

An Anti-CAIR blogburst.

On 8 May, the Chicago Tribune carried a news story about a mock hostage drill conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The drill apparently involved hostages, simulated explosions, and nerve gas.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an Islamic terrorist supporting organization, has naturally protested the mock drill.

From the article:

“Ahmed Rehab of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations
says the exercise wrongly typecast Islamic houses of worship as security threats.
Rehab says he has no reason to believe the exercise was meant to be malicious,
but it still perpetuates a stereotype linking all Muslims to terrorism.”

Let’s take this from the top, shall we? Law enforcement runs a mock hostage-taking drill involving a mosque; law enforcement responds, the hostages are freed and the bad guys are neutralized.

Some questions that have not been answered:

1. Who were the hostage takers?  Nowhere in the story do the words “Muslim terrorists” appear. In fact, the “terrorists” were given generic names from a TV program.

2.  It is safe to presume that a mosque, being a Muslim religious building, would be full of … Muslims.

3.  Nowhere in the drill was the mosque identified as a threat.

The above lead to more questions:

1.  Why did CAIR assume the terrorists were Muslim?  (Note to CAIR: Not all Muslims are terrorists.)

2.  Why doesn’t CAIR appreciate the fact that law enforcement ran a drill saving American Muslims from terrorists?  (And what does this lack of appreciation tell us about CAIR?)

3.  Why did CAIR assume the mosque was a threat?  None of the articles regarding the drill stated that the mosque was seen as a threat.  (Again, what does this tell us about CAIR?)

Ahmed Rehab was quoted, “…but it still perpetuates a stereotype linking all Muslims to terrorism”.

We only wish that Rehab had told us how the saving of American Muslims from unidentified terrorists “perpetuates a stereotype linking all Muslims to terrorism”.

Even more outrageous was the terror-supporter Ahmed Rehab's demands for a meeting with Undersheriff Rick Robbins, who helped plan this exercise. Because Robbins allowed a phone call "meeting" to proceed, Rehab and CAIR can now tout this "conversation" with Robbins as a P.R. victory.

Rehab, if he was really a law enforcement supporter, would have only said "Thank You" in that phone conversation.

Instead, Rehab weaseled his way into the law enforcement fabric with Undersheriff Robbins, and as all good lackeys at the terror-front CAIR do, tried to slime himself into "partnering" with the Sheriff’s department on "security and sensitivity issues". This move alone by Rehab should give notice to the Sheriffs Department of Montgomery County that CAIR should be shunned from ever getting close to Law Enforcement. CAIR is a proven front group for the Muslim Brotherhood and was founded by members of Hamas.

Undersheriff Robbins and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department should take serious note.  “Partnering”, meeting with, taking “training” from; or otherwise dealing with CAIR will demonstrate to the public that Robbin’s department clearly does not understand the threat of radical Islam in our country.  CAIR has been declared "unindicted co-conspirators" for its proven links to Islamic terror.

Note to law enforcement professionals:  There is no law that requires you neither to respond to CAIR…nor to accept “sensitivity training” from Islamic terrorism front groups.

The following is a very recent example of CAIR’s “assistance” to law enforcement.

This example involves Virginia’s Fairfax County Police; an officer recently plead guilty to tipping off a terrorism suspect to FBI surveillance.

Not only did Sgt. Weiss Rasool tip off a terrorism suspect to FBI surveillance, he and another officer, an officer that claimed to represent CAIR, successfully halted a terror training program in 2006 administered by the Higgins Center for Counter Terrorism Research.

Yes, members of CAIR must be proud of CAIR’s continuing subversion of law enforcement.

Another glaring example of infiltration/subversion?

Note, Rasool remains on the force, despite the conviction, “under review” by his department.  This leads us to ask; if Rasool was not a Muslim, would his department hesitate to, at minimum, terminate his employment?  How many non-Muslim police officers are permitted to tip off terrorism suspects and keep their job?

One last example:

As Patrick Poole illustrates in CAIR-OH revisited, 1999: CAIR-OH rushes to aid pre-9/11 dry-run hijackers - it seems that when efforts to bolster security and law enforcement capabilities in America are thwarted for the sake of "Muslim sensitivities", CAIR’s black hand is never too far behind…dripping with blood.

American Muslims must be especially "proud" that a terrorist front group is, once again, attacking law enforcement for doing its job.

But how proud are they that CAIR is, once again, claiming to do it in their name...?

Fatwa on a Book

FrontPage interviews Canadain author Howard Rotberg, who's latest work, The Second Catastrophe, is largely banned in his home country for offending Muslims.

FP: Let’s begin with the trouble you began having after the release of your novel.

Rotberg: Several years ago, at a book lecture at the Waterloo Ontario store of the monopoly book retailer in Canada (with 72% of Canadian retail book sales), I was attacked by a Palestinian and an Iraqi, who shouted me down, with shouts of “you have no right to be heard if you are pro-Israel.” Then when I could no longer speak, and folded up my notes, and audience members asked the hecklers to be quiet and let me speak, the Iraqi shouted “he is a fucking Jew.” The lecture was stopped.

The only employee present was a young woman with a hijab. She later told some people in attendance that she was Palestinian and knew the hecklers. She later reported to her boss, fraudulently, that I said that “all Muslims are terrorists.” Later she changed the allegation in a written statement, also fraudulent, that I said that “all Middle Easterners are terrorists.” No matter how ridiculous, the PR person for Chapters stated in a press release that they were sorry that patrons had to hear racist statements from both the hecklers and the guest author.

Later an allegation appeared on the internet that I supposedly said at the lecture that “all Arabs and Muslims deserve to die.” In this case I got the internet site to furnish me with the IP address for the computer from which emanated this terrible allegation. Then I obtained a court order compelling the internet service provider to disclose the name and address of the computer owner. The allegation was posted in the name of a Jewish person, but I had reason to believe that such a person could never state that.

When I got the court order I found out that the source of the internet posting was a Palestinian family who lived a few doors away from the Jewish family whose name they appropriated for the internet allegation. I also did some detective work and found that the daughter of the family was a school friend and fellow member of the local university Muslim Students Association with the Palestinian, then 18 year old, book clerk, who started this little fraud. It had large repercussions. When I complained to the President of the book chain about the press release, she did not take it well. In one week, the book chain “banned” my book, returning some 300 copies to the publisher, and stated on their web site that the book was “unavailable”. Of course, refusing to carry it on their website was an indication of their animus; it costs the chain nothing in terms of shelf space to have it available by web-ordering, but the “fatwa” was a complete one.

FP: So what’s happening now?

Rotberg: I am still trying to get a court case heard against the book chain, but their lawyers are quite successful in stalling the case. Canadian newspapers do not want to cover the matter, because they receive large advertising dollars from the book chain.

In the McCarthyesque tragic-comedy of “tolerant” intellectuals running around looking for evidence of Islamophobia in Canada, people like me don’t stand much of a chance. Fortunately in the U.S. you have good people like yourselves, Mr. Horowitz, Daniel Pipes, Phyllis Chesler, Steve Emerson, and Robert Spencer. In Canada, we have one good group called Canadian Coalition for Democracies, but except for them, and some authors like David Soloway and Ezra Levant, I feel quite alone. More.

One difference between the Nazis and today's political jihadists is that the Nazis would just crudely gather books and publicly burn them in a pile. The Islamists are working within the system to destroy it. Using litigation and crying racism or Islamiphobia anytime someone dares to question the religion of peace. This squelching of free speech, under the guise of multiculturalism and sensitivity, is another step towards sharia law and the erosion of our very freedom.

Obama Claims He's Visited 57 States

Him mentioning “SMS boys” refers an offshoot of the The Muslim Boys gang operating in South London called “South Man Syndicate”, also known as “South Man Dem”.

I posted about these gangs back in January 2008. And Adrian Marriot was killed in 2005 by members of the Muslim Boys gang for refusing to convert to Islam.

I've been through this before. Last March a Muslim Blogger posted that I should be shot. IAC deserves our support. Standing up for his freedom defends us all from thugs who want to silence us through intimidation.

Cell Phones Forbidden for Women in Islam

This one may be a hard law to enforce. I would think it would be quite easy to conceal a cell phone under a burka.

The ulema in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province have declared that use of mobile phones by women is haram, or forbidden in Islam. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Khabrain reported that the imam of Jama Masjid Hazrat Umar Farooq made the announcement during his Friday sermon.

But it's ok for the guys to use a cell.

Jama Masjid Hazrat Umar Farooq is situated in the Hashtnagri police district of Peshawar. According to the report, the Imam said the religious scholars of the province have agreed by consensus that women cannot use mobile phones. He also said that men are permitted to receive and make calls but mobile phones cannot be used for non-shari’a purposes.

Muslim Cleric: Every Muslim Should Be a Terrorist

One of the common arguments against the critics of Jihad is that it wrongly associates Islam with terrorism.  It's a "religion of peace" we are told. No matter how many examples of Muslim clerics preaching violent Jihad are offered, and no matter how many Jihadist's themselves claim they are are acting in the name of Allah, we still hear the same refrain. Even worse, the media often glosses over or completely ignores the constant threats and Koranic justifications often associated with todays terrorism.
Today's example is Indian Muslim cleric Ashraf Mohamedy, who claims that every Muslim should be a terrorist.

He also claims that America would be better off under sharia law, and that women who shun the hijab are invitations to rape.

A fundamentalist scientist would by definition have to reject new ideas in science. So that means scientists of Einstein's era would have been forced to consider the Theory of Relativity blasphemy to fundamentalist science. All ideas would have to be derived from the first scientist (whoever that was), as the sole source of scientific fundamentalism.

So much for logic.

Anyway, it sounds like the terrorists are policemen of sharia, and the infidels are the "anti-social elements of society".

Michelle Malkin: Stuff Muslims Don't Like

Michelle Malkin has added a new feature to her Blog, Stuff Muslims Don't Like. She was also kind enough to mention Amboy.

You know that popular blog “Stuff White People Like?” It’s a humorous site that keeps a running list of, well, stuff that white people like. The mainstream media went ga-ga over the site and a NY publisher forked over a book advance reported to reach $300,000. This week, the blog’s creator announced that the book, “Stuff White People Like,” is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com and elsewhere and will be released in July.

Now, as you all well know, the reason it’s acceptable to poke fun at “white people” is that no one is going to riot, burn things, or slice any heads off for mocking yuppie love of Toyota Priuses and Public Radio and Microbreweries.

Which got me to musing about a new feature: Stuff Muslims Don’t Like.

Of course, Stuff Muslims Don’t Like doesn’t purport to characterize the entire Muslim population anymore than Stuff White People Like purports to characterize the entire population of white people. It’s a look at predictable predilictions, proclivities, and trends.

I’ve already documented tons of items already that have set off the Religion of Perpetual Outrage.  And Amboy Times has compiled a handy list of things that offend Muslims. But I think it’ll be a worthwhile exercise from here on out to start keeping a running blog list, a la Stuff White People Like.

Ask yourself this: Would the big chain bookstores carry a book about Stuff Muslims Don’t Like next to the Stuff White People Like book?

It would be an interesting test, no?

Israeli Luggage Offends Muslims

This outrageous story from e-mailer Beryl Dean has been verified and is absolutely true:

My friend Miriam Bedein traveled to Britain early in April. She arrived on British Air from Israel, and as she arrived at the baggage claim, she observed that there were no porters at the site.

She asked what was happening of the gentleman who was taking her to the baggage carousel, and he said "Ooh, the porters are Muslim and they will not handle any luggage coming from Israel" (In Britain, the porters take the luggage off the carousels and take them to your cab, etc.) While it was not his job, the gentleman was kind enough to get her luggage for her.

(...) I looked into this some more and just got off the phone with Miriam Bedein's friend, lawyer Beryl Dean. It's absolutely correct. They don't call them "porters" in Britain, they call them "skycaps," and they are pre-arranged, not waiting around the luggage carousel. Moreover, Miriam Bedein is in a wheelchair, and it was pre-arranged that a skycap come to wheel her from the plane to the luggage and then to help port her luggage. However, they refused to show up because her flight and luggage were from Israel. And that IS the policy of Brit Muslim skycaps.
